I believe in the power of walking and biking. I believe in the power of non-car transportation to knit communities together, to care for the planet, and to provide mental and physical healing. To this end, I use my passions for sustainability and active transportation to create enjoyable, safe, and inclusive communities.
I have worked on transportation planning in both the private and public sectors. I bring both technical knowledge and communication skills to connect with elected officials, transportation professionals, and members of the public.
In 2024, I obtained my Master's in City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley. My year-long research project, "Don't Keep Us Out of the Revolution," focused on understanding the disability community's perceptions of and expectations for robotaxis in California. This research was supported by funding from the Pacific Southwest Region University Transportation Center.
My transportation studio, led by Professor Karen Trapenberg-Frick, was titled Oxford for All. The group project inspired legislative action for improvements on the study corridor in downtown Berkeley. The College of Environmental Design recently posted an article about the project.Â
