Video: How to Use Library & Information Science Source

For my Library Instruction and Information Literacy class I worked with two teammates to develop and create a video introducing incoming Information School students to the Library & Information Science Source database. In this video we show students how to navigate to the database from the UT Library's website and how to log in using their student ID, introduce them to the concept of Boolean operators, and provide a search example utilizing the database.

To accompany this video we also developed a learning activity (quiz assessment) to accompany the video.

The video and activity have been made available as a resource to students in the University of Texas at Austin's undergraduate Informatics degree program.
