Meet Your Teacher

Hi! My name is Kathryn Brooks, and I am thrilled to be teaching 5th grade Math and Science at Sugar Ridge this year. I have nine years of classroom experience, having taught third, fourth, and fifth grade.

I grew up in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire before moving South to attend college. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University and my Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Liberty University.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, biking, caring for indoor plants, and baking. I look forward to a great year ahead!
