We are a group of plant ecologists and evolutionary biologists interested in adaptation and speciation. We focus on a diverse radiation of wildflowers, the yellow monkeyflowers, that are an ecological genetic model system. We use field and lab experiments to understand how plants adapt to different environments, how these adaptations contribute to the origin and maintenance of new species, and how these adaptations influence species distributions.
We are currently recruiting undergraduates and graduate students. Please contact ktoll@mailbox.sc.edu if you are interested!
