I am an Economist at the World Bank in the Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment Global Practice and Development Economics Research Group. In September 2020 I completed my PhD in Economics at Oxford University.
My research focuses on trade, globalization, AI, automation, labour markets, development and climate policy. I am particularly interested in how new technologies and climate policy affect trade, global supply chains and paths to development.
I am also a Visiting Researcher at Oxford University, an External Research Fellow at the UK's Institute for the Future of Work and part of the ClimateChangeAI team. I was previously a Visiting Researcher at Stanford's Department of Economics, a researcher for the Pathways for Prosperity Commission on Technology and Inclusive Development and an ODI Fellow in Rwanda's Ministry of Trade and Industry.
