Katherine Rose Garcia
About Me
Hi, my name is Katherine Garcia. I prefer to go by the name 'Katie,' but will respond sometimes to 'Katherine.' I am in my second year at Rice University in Houston, Texas, pursuing a PhD in Human Factors and Human-Computer Interaction. I received my M.S. in Psychology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and my B.A. in Psychology and Cognitive Sciences from Rice as well.
I am the lab manager of the Human-Automation Collaboration (HAC) Lab led by Dr. Jing Chen. I have been a part of numerous interdisciplinary teams throughout my graduate school experience. Please see my Portfolio and CV for more information!
