About Me
I'm an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Computational Data Science at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. My mathematical interests are primarily in algebraic topology, including homotopy theory, homological algebra, and applications to data science.
Prior to joining the faculty at Hamline, I was a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Western Ontario, under the supervision of Rick Jardine. I received my Ph.D. in May 2020 from the University of Colorado, where I worked with Agnès Beaudry.
My B.Sc. is in Mathematics and Psychology, and I continue to be interested in neuroscience and human behaviour. I also worked in outdoor education for several years and still try to get outside as much as possible.
I care deeply about the human community that is formed around mathematics, and am committed to making that environment more equitable and just for mathematicians of all races, genders, classes, incomes, abilities, and cultures.
