About me
I am a Stipendiary Lecturer in Linguistics at St Catherine's College and St John's College, University of Oxford. I also serve as the Linguistics Organising Tutor for St Catherine's, St John's, and New College.
In addition to this, I am an Educational Development Advisor at Oxford's Centre for Teaching and Learning, where I work on Student-Staff Partnerships within the university.
I teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students. At the undergraduate level, I offer tutorials in General Linguistics and French Linguistics. At the postgraduate level, I am currently teaching weekly Phonology classes.
My recent research focuses on sociophonetic variation of English spoken in Ireland (Irish English), particularly in the context of language contact between Irish and English.
After completing my BA in French and Linguistics at Oxford, I gained an MA in Linguistics at UCL and a PhD at Trinity College Dublin.
