My name is Katerina (Katy) Hristova and I am a copyeditor, writer, and a former mathematician.

I have over 3 years of experience as a journal editor for the publishing house De Gruyter Open, and have done various freelance copywriting and copyediting jobs.

Maths Stuff.
In 2019, I obtained a PhD in Pure Mathematics from the University of Warwick and got an honourable mention for best graduate thesis of 2019. I worked as a Researcher in Pure Mathematics until Fall 2021.
I have over 5 years of experience in teaching maths at all levels.

The fun stuff:
Outside of writing, literature & mathematics, I am interested in yoga & mindfullness, philosophy, cosmology, languages and personal development. I love fiction books, and besides classics (that everyone enjoys in some form right?!) I am obsessed with dystopian novels, fantasy, YA, and all sorts of writing which combines philosophy, zen and innovative ideas about us humans and the universe we inhabit.
