Provides high quality gender, youth, and digital health technical and scientific leadership and support to country offices, programs, and research studies. Key activities include technical assistance to support the scale-up of a mentoring program for adolescent girls and young women in Burundi, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Uganda; the scale up and adaptation of m4RH in Afghanistan and Malawi; OVC activities in Burundi and Ethiopia; and the implementation of a Facebook based support group for ALHIV in Nigeria. Provide technical support and guidance to staff and partners in country offices on meeting the needs of adolescent girls and young women, youth sexual and reproductive health, gender, and digital health. Manage and provide technical input for projects including the development of an mHealth intervention for adolescents living with HIV in Nigeria; an HIV prevention program for adolescent girls and young women in Uganda, Burundi, and Ethiopia; and the adaptation of Mobile for Reproductive Health (m4RH), a mobile-phone–based sexual and reproductive health information service, for youth in Tanzania, Uganda, and Malawi; and the research utilization component of a project to address social norms to improve youth sexual and reproductive health.
