Foodtruck Investigations is a point and click puzzle game developed by 6 people over the course of 4 weeks. In it you play as a health inspector investigating a food truck, and have to note what does and does not pass. It was designed to help teach basic health and safety guidelines in a more digestible format.
Kate's responsibilities for this project included:
Producing the project
Writing the questions and observation text.
Designing and Implementing the scene in Unity
Production
Producing for this project, Kate set up a pipeline to make sure the game did not stray from its educational source material. Sources were collected in a document and had their main points listed for the systems designer to pull from for tasks. This also made it easier to keep those sources linked to the missions to send players to them. Kate then set up the document so designer picked tasks were clearly marked, so that she, the artist, and the programmer could start work on them independently.
