Kate is a Game Developer who's done Systems Design for several shipped small scale projects.
Kate has a passion for designing mechanics that evoke specific parts of life while still being enjoyable. Whether it be burnt out & codependent (Turnstyle), awkward & unprepared (Silver Tongue) or overworked & behind schedule (Truckers!!!), she can design for that and more!
In addition, Kate has experience offering feedback and guidance for younger devs and knows how to work with people of various skill levels to help them achieve their goals.
Of note, some of her credits will be under the name Sean Noelle, as she used her middle name for projects for a period of time.

B.A. in Art & Design: Games and Playable Media
While in grad school, Kate designed games with variable sized teams and experimenting in the field of eliciting new emotions. She took the opportunity to experiment with various roles, including Producer and Programmer. She learnt not only skills needed for those fields, but also what materials from systems designers those fields need to effectively do their jobs.
Kate spent her time as an undergrad working on several games projects. She quickly got used to operating in variable size teams and negotiating the work balance and shared design control these projects would necessarily have. Her projects mostly focused on using novel mechanics and systems to elicit various emotional reactions from players.
