About Me

About Me

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2013-2017. At Georgia Tech, I majored in physics with a concentration in astrophysics. I was a member of LIGO for 2.5 years and researched near-Earth asteroids at NASA Ames, binary stars at Georgia Tech, and the Sun's corona at Marshall Space Flight Center. Outside the classroom, I served as the President of The Society of Women in Physics.

I moved to Ann Arbor in 2018 to pursue my PhD. I will complete my degree in 2024.

Other activities I enjoy

When I am not doing science, I still love to stay busy! Since the age of three, I have done ballet. I also love swimming, scuba diving, painting, and backpacking. I find a lot of fulfillment by participating in social justice initiatives.
