Projects
Throughout my entire third year at Seneca College, I've worked within the FIELD placement project. My group and I had the opportunity to create a sub-brand for Tonia DeBellis which we named BUILT (Body Useful Innovative Lifestyle Trusted). BUILT was a vision that allowed me to incorporate my own creativity and knowledge of the fashion industry.
Our story board was created to showcase the colour scheme and theme of our collection. Earthy, neutral tones in conjunction with base layer pieces that can be worn as everyday attire. Working on creating a simplistic, yet practical collection for women was a main goal of ours
My team and I worked on our assortment, inventory, and sales plans regarding the entire collection. We took it upon ourselves to complete each separate category, in which I chose our unitards. The sheet provides all prevalent information regarding product launch dates, all the way to estimated stock and merchandise replenishment. .
The line board reflects the styles of the BUILT collection, along with their fabric composition and product numbers. We have the wholesale price, as well as the retail price for each product with their full name and metallic textile finishes.
Regarding our marketing and advertisement strategies, I got to implement a large portion of my ideas through social media into our project. Our strategies allowed us to reach our target consumer through multiple platforms and get creative with our videos and posts. As someone who uses social media frequently, utilizing the enormous platforms to promote a fashion brand can be exciting and allows me to truly tap into unique ways of producing content.
I created wireframe mockups for the Tonia DeBellis website incorporate the BUILT collection and how it would be promoted throughout the various pages including the home page, shopping cart and collection introduction.
The collaborative efforts of my group and I made me realize how important building bonds with one another is. Having group mates that were able to support and work with one another was an amazing experience, and having been able to create a concept as strong as BUILT was a project I can look back on and be extremely proud of.
