Theme: The Future of EFL Education with AI: Transparency, Accountability, and Inclusion
The Korean Association of Teachers of English (KATE) invites submissions for its 2026 annual conference, which will explore the future of EFL education in an age increasingly shaped by AI technologies. As AI tools mediate language learning, teaching, and assessment, this conference seeks to engage with issues of transparency, accountability, and inclusion across diverse educational contexts.
We welcome proposals that examine how AI transforms pedagogy, teacher expertise, learner engagement, assessment, curriculum design, ethics, and educational equity. Both empirical and conceptual papers are encouraged, including classroom-based studies, policy analyses, sociocultural inquiries, and interdisciplinary approaches.
