Kate LeVasseur, D.V.M. ("Licensee") is best known as a technical adviser at Omega Fields and as a staff member at Bear Creek Animal Hospital. She has obtained DVM degree and achieved satisfactory mastery of the necessary scientific and clinical knowledge as well as technical skills with professionalism, attitudes, and behavior. She has knowledge of diseases and technologies.
Dr. Kate LeVasseur joined the team at Bear Creek Animal Hospital in 2016. Dr. LeVasseur grew up on a beef farm in Wisconsin, barrel racing and training horses, and assisting her father, a large animal veterinarian. In 2011 Dr. LeVasseur graduated from the University of Wisconsin, School of Veterinary Medicine and moved to South Florida for a post-graduate equine medicine and surgery internship.
In 2013 she moved to Denver and worked as an emergency veterinarian in a large referral hospital. Prior to coming to northwest Colorado, Dr. LeVasseur also worked on a racetrack and served as a Chief of Staff veterinarian in a busy small animal practice. When she’s not working, she enjoys trail running, fly fishing, and skiing.
