Saint-Émilion, Commune in the South-West of France
I am originally from Adelaide, Australia but I have also lived in Melbourne, England and France, and studied intensive units in Italy and South Korea. I enjoy travelling for the history, the people you meet, and because I believe living abroad has made me more adaptable, but I am conscious of the environmental footprint that travelling can create and addressing climate change is very important to me.
Presently I write and edit for a number of international affairs publications, volunteer for ActionAid Australia and work as an Analyst in the maritime security space.
Before moving abroad, I was a political campaigns volunteer and worked in the head office of Funlab, a chain of venues across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore which was experiencing a significant growth period during my tenor. I worked across event coordination, management and program coordination during my time with the company.
I use to be a seamstress, and when I have the time I am an avid painter, usually of portraits using oils.
