As I began to make the research timeline, it occurred to me that I didn't really have a good idea of how I wanted to formulate my paper. Breaking the work into sections/stages really made writing a research paper less intimidating. Analyzing data collection methods helped me to better understand the differences between quantitative and qualitative data and it outlined different data collection tools (surveys, interviews, observations).
