Sometimes, what we need most is not advice, but someone who listens with patience, openness and compassion.
Hi, I am Suresh Kumar, Professor of Mathematics at Plaksha University, India. Over the years, many students, colleagues, and friends have reached out to me during difficult phases of their lives. I have found that simply listening with complete attention, without judgment or haste, often helps people gain clarity, rediscover their own inner strength, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence.
These conversations have been among the most meaningful experiences of my life. They have inspired me to extend this opportunity to anyone, anywhere in the world, who feels the need for a calm and compassionate conversation. I am comfortable in both English and Hindi languages.
If you are going through a difficult period, feeling confused, anxious, lonely, overwhelmed, or simply wish to speak with someone who will listen with genuine care, you are warmly welcome to connect with me.
Our conversation will be:
A confidential and respectful dialogue.
Free from judgment, criticism, or preconceived opinions.
Focused on understanding your thoughts and feelings.
A space where you are heard with patience and empathy.
I do not claim to have answers to every problem. Rather, I hope to provide a peaceful space in which you can explore your own understanding and discover your own way forward.
Everyone is welcome, including:
Students facing academic or personal challenges.
Young professionals navigating career or life decisions.
Teachers, parents, and caregivers.
Anyone experiencing stress, uncertainty, loneliness, or emotional difficulties.
Anyone who simply wishes to have a thoughtful and compassionate conversation.
Age, nationality, profession, culture, or background do not matter. Every human being deserves to be heard.
Conversations can be arranged online through:
Google Meet
Zoom
Sessions are conducted by prior appointment.
These conversations are offered completely free of charge as a small contribution towards building a more compassionate and understanding world.
If, after our conversation, you feel inspired to help someone else in your own community, that would be the greatest gift.
I am a professor and educator, not a licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical professional. These conversations are intended to provide compassionate listening, encouragement, and thoughtful dialogue. They are not a substitute for professional mental health care, psychotherapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or believe you may need professional care, I strongly encourage you to contact a qualified mental health professional or your local emergency services.
If you would like to schedule a conversation, please send an email with a brief introduction and your preferred time zone.

I will do my best to respond as soon as possible and arrange a mutually convenient time.
