I am an academic and artist working at the intersection of the arts and sciences. I hold a diploma in mathematics, two doctoral degrees (in mathematics and economics), a Master’s in Fine Art, and a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
My work has been supported by scholarships from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, the Max Weber Program, the MARA Foundation, COST, and the Hanns Seidel Foundation. I have received awards from institutions such as the Curt Wills Foundation, the ING Social StartUp Foundation, the Rotary Art Prize, and the Lisbon Meeting for Best Graduate Paper. Research stays at Harvard, Moscow, and Cairo as well as fellowships at Nuffield College and Lincoln College, Oxford, have broadened my academic and artistic horizons.
Currently, I am developing a new institution dedicated to interdisciplinary learning through collaborative practice between the arts and sciences. In 2022, I co-founded Prinzregentensalon e.V., a platform for encounters between scholars and artists through public events and performances. In 2025, I founded the Philosophische Akademie München (PAM), where art and science are brought into dialogue through interdisciplinary teaching, workshops, events, and collaborative formats.
