Karl Bergman

I'm a philosopher, currently employed as a postdoctoral researcher within the thought sharing in action project at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.

I defended my thesis at the philosophy department of Uppsala University in 2019: Communities of Judgment: Toward a Teleosemantic Theory of Moral Thought and Discourse, on applications of Ruth Millikan's teleosemantics for issues in metaethics.

My research continues to be influenced by Millikan and seeks to contribute to a naturalistic understanding of language and communication.

My full name is "Karl Gustav Bergman", and that's how I sign my papers nowadays. Day-to-day, I go by "Karl" or its Swedish standard diminutive form, "Kalle."

In my free time, I make games.
