Karin Wu
I am an applied economist with research interests in agricultural and food policy. I will join the Department of Agricultural Economics at the National Taiwan University as an Assistant Professor starting Fall 2024. I received my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
My research focuses on individual decision-making along the food supply chain, ranging from crop producers to consumers. Specifically, I am interested in understanding how farmers or agents respond to exogenous or policy shocks.
