Account deletion (Cookbook by Karhucode)
To request deletion of your Cookbook account and associated cloud data, email the developer contact address shown on the Google Play / App Store listing. Include the email address used for your Cookbook account and ask for account deletion.
We will delete or anonymize: your authentication account, profile (e.g. display name), synced recipes, categories, menus, shopping lists, recipe images in our storage, family membership records we control, and subscription/entitlement records we store.
We may retain limited records for a short period if required for security, fraud prevention, or legal/tax obligations (typically up to 30 days, longer only if law requires). Purchase history held by Google Play, Apple, or RevenueCat is governed by their policies and may not be fully removable by us.
Local data on your device remains until you uninstall the app or clear app data. You can also delete individual recipes, lists, and images in the app without deleting your account.
Delete some data without deleting your account
In the Cookbook app you can delete individual recipes, shopping lists, menus, and recipe images yourself. That removes the content from your device and, when you use cloud sync, from your synced cloud data as well. You do not need to delete your account for this.
