5. Example Assignment - How to do an Effective Web Search, from the online course Educational Technologies
Instructions for students: For this assignment, you will do a search for websites that you can use in your final project. Your final project will be to create a lesson using your topic while integrating technology. You will not only search for websites but you will also learn how to complete an effective search; learning about different search engines and finding ways to narrow down your search.

6. Example Assignment - Hyperdoc - Assistive Technologies, from the online course Educational Technologies
Instructions for students:
The readings for this week are set up using a hyperdoc and is designed as a WebQuest for you to research the definition of assistive technologies and to develop your own understanding.
What is a hyperdoc? It is a digital document where all components of a lesson are pulled together into one document, within that document are links to all resources needed. A WebQuest is a type of hyperdoc where students use the web to search for answers or complete activities (your final assignment will be a WebQuest that you create).
