One of the most rewarding aspects of my work with the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana was spending time with the people and sharing their stories through visual media. I always aimed to capture the essence of these moments in a way that made the viewer feel as if they were right there with us, experiencing the love, spirit, and energy firsthand. I have so many cherished memories that I can't pick just a few favorites. Jazz Festing In Place

I had a lot of fun with this photo series. Who said sheltering at home during the COVID-19 pandemic had to be boring? These pictures are a beautiful reminder of when WWOZ brought us the best of Jazz Fest during a difficult time. I made the most of that time by cooking my favorite festival food and listening to music non-stop. It's a great memory that I'll always cherish!

My Neighborhood

I reside near the borders of the North West Carrollton, Leonidas, and Hollygrove neighborhoods of New Orleans. It's a close-knit and diverse community that welcomed me with open arms over a decade ago. Although it has had its share of crime, the people of this neighborhood work hard to take care of one another and provide comfort and support. Living in a neighborhood where you can strike up a conversation with anyone while walking around is an unbeatable experience! It's a great place to live!
