Ive recently used LS Dyna and its doing pretty good job. But is it open source ? I downloaded it from the below website I have issues while turning on the quality and doing the node move or remesh at particular region, the software window is closing on its own whenever i turn the mesh quality on and do remesh or any other function. Do anyone have the same issues ? And also where can i find more tutorials for LS dyna ?

Dynaplugs worked perfectly. But when I used that tire on the trainer, it failed after several minutes. I contacted dynaplug and they confirmed that the extra heat from trainer use will cause the metal part of the plug to separate from the rubber tail.

The seventh generation Dyna was introduced in May 1999 and was jointly developed by Toyota and Hino. The Hino Dutro sold as a result was a rebadged Toyota Dyna. The cabins were made more aerodynamic, spacious and curved. New headlamps were installed to continue the cabin aesthetic. Interior quality as well as the dashboard were improved and made more ergonomic.

The eighth generation of the Dyna debuted in May 2011 and was based on the second-generation Hino Dutro. The lineup consists of the U600 and U800. The exterior was made more aerodynamic and the interior quality was improved over the previous generation. In the hybrid models a 4.0 L (4,009 cc) diesel engine rated at 150 PS (110 kW) was paired with an electric motor rated at 49 PS (36 kW) which also serves as the starter motor. A new 5-speed automatic transmission was introduced which worked like a conventional automatic transmission with two paddles.[28]

The discrepancy between non-executable mathematical notation and executable programs was the central motivation for the Dyna project and led to the development of Dyna 1.0 (Paper 1, Paper 2) Dyna 1.0 extended Datalog by replacing the boolean semiring used in logic programming to allow any semiring. In other words, this meant that Dyna 1.0 was a notation for expressing and running dynamic programs. As such, Dyna 1.0 was successfully used in a number of research papers.

On the heels of Dyna 1.0 success, Dyna 2.0 was proposed to rectify many of the limitations of Dyna 1.0 (Paper). Dyna 1.0 requires everything to use the same semiring, Dyna 2.0 removes this restriction, instead, it has functions. Dyna 1.0 is a dialect of Datalog and as such, requires all terms to only contain ground values. This allowed the Dyna 1.0 compiler to generate programs that loop over the entire domain of an expression---much like a scan of a database table. Dyna 2.0 has no such restriction. Instead, Dyna 2.0 allows for variables in the program to remain free. Dyna 2.0 performs unification similar to Prolog, where expressions like a(X)=a(Y) unifies X and Y together without knowing the value of X or Y. Dyna 2.0 also supports both lazy expressions allowing for expressions like X+Y=Z to remain "unevaluated". Dyna 2.0 can also eagerly compute and memoize any expression to avoid recomputing the same expression many times. Dyna 2.0 also introduced a prototype-based inheritance (dynabases) which is useful for building larger programs.

Many bacterial species contain dynamin-like proteins (DLPs). However, so far the functional mechanisms of bacterial DLPs are poorly understood. DynA in Bacillus subtilis is a 2-headed DLP, mediating nucleotide-independent membrane tethering in vitro and contributing to the innate immunity of bacteria against membrane stress and phage infection. Here, we employed content mixing and lipid mixing assays in reconstituted systems to study if DynA induces membrane full fusion, characterize its subunits in membrane fusion, and further test the possibility that GTP hydrolysis of DynA may act on the fusion-through-hemifusion pathway. Our results based on fluorescence resonance energy transfer indicated that DynA could induce aqueous content mixing even in the absence of GTP. Moreover, DynA-induced membrane fusion in vitro is a thermo-promoted slow process, and it has phospholipid and membrane curvature preferences. The D1 part of DynA is crucial for membrane binding and fusion, whereas D2 subunit plays a role in facilitating membrane fusion. Surprisingly, digestion of DynA mediated an instant rise of content exchange, supporting the assumption that disassembly of DynA is a driving force for fusion-through-hemifusion. DynA is a rare example of a membrane fusion catalyst that lacks a transmembrane domain and hence sets this system apart from well-characterized fusion systems such as the soluble N-ethyl maleimide sensitive factor attachment protein receptor complexes.-Guo, L., Bramkamp, M.
