Welcome!

I was born and raised in Connecticut and lived there for 32 years before moving to Arizona in 2007. Before moving to Arizona, I tackled 4 seasons and lots of snow, so moving to a warm climate has been an eye opening experience. I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2004 with a degree in Human Services and was a stay at home mom to three boys that are 21,18, and 13 years of age. I started teaching in 2010 at a Charter School and during this time completed my Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Grand Canyon University.

During my free time I love to spend time with my family and read a good book. I love watching shows on Netflix and playing games on my Ipad

I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades during the last eight years and 5th grade holds a special place in my heart. Students in 5th grade really find themselves during that year and grow and develop in preparation for Middle school.
