We are sincerely delighted to be able to hold a European seminar here in the Republic of Hungary, Budapest, jointly hosted by the Wadokai Hea0 dquarters and the Hungary Wadokai Karate Federation.
The Wadokai Headquarters is focusing on widely dispatching technical instructors overseas, and moving forward, we hope to hold technical seminars regularly every year or every two years with everyone's cooperation.
To all participants attending this time, we hope that by training together with the instructors dispatched from Japan, you will learn and understand the techniques of Wadokai more concretely, use this as an opportunity to internalize them, and that it will lead to further improvement of your skills. We also hope that the techniques of Wadokai will spread throughout Europe and that there will be further development in the future.
I believe that by training with Japanese instructors this time, I will be able to understand Wado techniques more concretely. I hope that this seminar will lead to an improvement in the skills of all participants. I also hope that Wado techniques will spread further throughout Europe and continue to develop.

Dear Karateka, Dear Guests,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the International JKF Wado‑kai Seminar, to be held from 9–11 October 2026. This event is an officially supported “A‑category” seminar of the Japan Wado‑kai, led by five Japanese instructors appointed by the JKF Wado‑kai Technical Committee.
We are deeply honored to have received the mandate to host this prestigious seminar in Hungary, with the support of Shuzo Imai Sensei and the approval of Tamaki Sonoda, Chairman of the JKF Wado‑kai Technical Committee.
From Friday to Sunday, participants will have the opportunity to take part in technical training sessions, as well as 1st–6th Dan and 3rd–2nd Kyu instructor examinations.
The training sessions are open to all practitioners of Wado karate; however, participation in the Dan and instructor examinations is reserved for holders of a valid JKF Wado‑kai membership card.
I am confident that our capital city will be a worthy host to all visiting karateka, instructors, leaders, and examinees.
To our international guests, I wish a wonderful stay in Hungary — may you take home unforgettable memories and return many times in the future.
To our Hungarian participants, I encourage you to make the most of this unique opportunity to learn from five Japanese masters who are travelling here to share their knowledge of our beloved Wado karate style.
I wish every participant an inspiring and memorable experience, and all examinees much success in their examinations.

Tisztelt Karatékák! Tisztelt Vendégeink!
Köszöntöm Önöket a 2026. október 9-11-ig rendezendő, nemzetközi JKF Wado-kai szeminárium alkalmából. Ez a rendezvény a Japán Wado-kai által hivatalosan támogatott „A” kategóriás szeminárium, amelyet 5 a JKF Wado-kai technikai kollégiuma által kijelölt japán instruktor fog vezetni.
Nagy öröm és megtiszteltetés, hogy megbízást kaptunk Shuzo Imai Sensei támogatásával, Tamaki Sonoda a JKF Wado-Kai Technikai Bizottságának elnökétől a rendezvény magyarországi megrendezésére.
A rendezvényen péntektől vasárnapig technikai edzéseken, és a jelentkezők 1-6. dan és 3-2. kyu instuktori vizsgákon vehetnek részt.
Az edzések nyitottak minden wado karatét gyakorló részére, de a dan vizsgán és az instuktori vizsgán, csak JKF Wado-kai tagsági kártyával rendelkezők vehetnek részt.
Abban biztos vagyok, hogy fővárosunk méltó házigazdája lesz az idelátogató karatékáknak, edzőknek, szakvezetőknek, vizsgázóknak.
A külföldi részvevőknek azt kívánom, hogy érezzék magukat jól Magyarországon, feledhetetlen emlékeket vigyenek haza és még sokszor térjenek vissza. A magyar résztvevőknek pedig azt kívánom, hogy használják ki, hogy 5 japán mester utazik Magyarországra és oktat minket a szeretett Wado karate stílusunkra.
Minden résztvevőnek maradandó élményeket a vizsgázóknak sikeres vizsgát kívánok!
