Kaoma Trades Training institute is one of the twenty-four (24) public TEVET providers in Zambia. The institution was established by an Act of Parliament in September 1993. At that time, SWAPO freedomfighters had been repatriated and the Zambian government decided to set up a skills training institute as a way of safe guarding the infrastructure left behind.
The institution regulated by TEVETA and has been awarded grade 2 status simply meaning we have met the TEVET requirements in terms of infrastructure, modern equipment and qualified teaching staffs.
The institution has three courses (Carpentry and Joinery; General Agriculture; Secretarial and Office Management). Our pass rate is always above 90% and our graduates absolves necessary skills for the labor market.
