Who are we and what do we offer?
Kanunas is a math tutoring platform founded by a Concordian Mechanical Engineering student - Ahmed Salama.
Kanunas started from a simple observation:
most engineering students don’t struggle with math because they’re “bad at it,” but they struggle because it’s often taught in a rushed and “overly theoretical” way.
Kanunas exists to fix that.
We focus on bringing structure to some of the toughest math courses at Concordia, especially:
ENGR 213 (Differential Equations)
ENGR 233 (Calculus III)
How does Kanunas teach?
Our style is the following:
Break each topic into clear problem types
Focus on what actually shows up on exams instead of theoretical hieroglyphics
Math doesn’t need to feel cryptic, because it is not. With the right structure, it becomes manageable, even intuitive.
Who is Kanunas for?
Kanunas is for students who:
feel lost in their professors’ lectures
want explanations that actually make sense, or as they say: "In A Nutshell"
are preparing for midterms or finals
prefer clarity over surface-level teaching
What Sessions Are Like?
Weekly Tutorial Sessions are two hours each, with a limited number of seats.
That way, questions don’t get rushed.
Expect:
real examples, and not vague theory
a calm environment where it’s okay to ask questions
Notes and summaries are shared when useful, so students leave with something concrete to review.
In short, we’re here to bring you clarity, dear students!
