Logistics

Venue and Parking. The first KanSec workshop will be held in the K-State Student Union (Google Map). Parking is available in the K-State Parking Garage located at the corner of 17th Street and Anderson Avenue, adjacent to the Union. If you plan to park in the garage during the workshop, we encourage you to indicate the need for a parking permit when you register. The cost is included in your registration. The parking permit will be provided in your registration packet and should be used when exiting the garage. You can enter the Union from the parking garage. The event will be in the Main Ballroom on the second floor and there will be signs directing you to the meeting place.

Lodging. We expect most participants will attend the event in a day trip without the need for staying overnight. However, if you wish to stay in town for one or two nights, the most convenient hotel is Holiday Inn which is right across the street to the campus. If you do stay in Holiday Inn, please park your car in the hotel and walk across the street to the Union.
