Orff Levels Training
The Kansas Orff Chapter is proud to offer three workshops each year to allow teachers to expand and practice their knowledge. These workshops, however, are only part of the complete Orff-Schulwerk. Formal training in the method is offered throughout the country. This training is organized into three distinct levels.

Scholarships
The Sue McCormick Memorial Scholarship was set up by the Kansas Orff Chapter to help teachers attend the Baker Orff Schulwerk Levels Program located in Baldwin City, Kansas. The Kansas Orff Chapter will award a $500 scholarship for Level 1, a $250 scholarship for Level 1, two $250 scholarships for Level 2, and two $250 scholarships for Level 3 to help defray the cost of registration.
Sue McCormick was a member of the Kansas Orff Chapter. Through her work as a music educator and administrator, she touched the lives of many students and teachers. Sue is no longer with us, but through this scholarship we hope to keep her spirit alive in the Orff-Schulwerk community in Kansas.
Applications music be submitted by May 1st. Applicants will be notified by May 15. The checks will be presented at Baker on the first day of the Levels course.
*We ask those who receive scholarships to come the day before the course to help set up and stay on the last day to help tear down. We also ask that you help pick up at the end of each day during the course.
