PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Welcome!
Thank you for visiting the Kansas Orff Chapter website!
I am proud to be part of an organization that offers three workshops each year at locations across Kansas, as well as Orff Level Certification courses hosted each summer at Baker University. We also provide scholarships for these courses and support attendance at the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA) National Conference. Information about these opportunities can be found throughout our website.
Our goal is to provide high-quality professional development that equips educators with meaningful, practical tools they can bring back to their classrooms while creating an engaging and enjoyable learning experience. In addition to workshops and scholarships, KOC is proud to help sponsor the clinician for the Kansas Music Educators Association (KMEA) conference.
I have been a member of KOC for nearly 15 years, and I can honestly say that this organization has had a tremendous impact on my professional and personal growth. The workshops and the educators who attend them create an inspiring community where we can connect, make music, learn together, and, most importantly, reconnect with our purpose as music educators.
Please explore our website to learn more about our upcoming workshops and the outstanding clinicians we have scheduled. We look forward to welcoming you to a future event as we learn, grow, and make joyful music together.
Sincerely,
Daichi Tadokoro
Kansas Orff Chapter President
