Where Did We See Leadership?
Harvesters - The Community Food Network
Harvester's mission is to feed hungry people today and work to end hunger tomorrow. They also provide household items and food products to non-profit organizations across the nation.
The main facility is located in Kansas City and serves surrounding 26 counties.
This organization is a leader in its community and the nation
They showed integrity in their work, they were informed on their duties and positions, and had an undeniable passion that encouraged our hearts.
While volunteering here, we were able to lead by the example that Harvesters showed us.
Hawkeye Service Teams Showed Us
Learning how maintain positivity and be an effective leader can be the difference between success and failure in a group dynamic.
Our group learned that LEADERSHIP means knowing how to work with organizations to support them in their mission
In order for a group to be effective, all heads need to be in the game.
We are grateful to have learned so much from our time in Kansas City!
