This Privacy Policy applies to the Kanokdam mobile application, including any related services operated by Kanokdam Limited ("we," "us," or "the Service Provider"). Kanokdam Limited operates as the Data Controller for the information processed through this Application.

1. Scope of the Application

The Kanokdam Application is a specialized business tool designed exclusively for generator maintenance, servicing, and data logging. It is used solely by our internal staff, field engineers, technicians, and registered clients to monitor services and view generator performance logs.

2. Information We Collect and Process

Because accounts are pre-managed, we do not allow public user registration. We process data strictly required to deliver our maintenance services:

• Account Credentials: Pre-registered login details (emails and passwords) provided by our administrator to authorized staff and clients.

• Service and Log Data: Technical data regarding client generators, maintenance histories, and service logs.

• Map and Routing Data: The application utilizes a map URL plugin that connects to Google Maps. This helps engineers find a client's generator site using the registered place name or address via standard Google Maps search. The app does not track your live background GPS location.

3. Third-Party Tools

We do not track your personal activities or build user profiles. However, to ensure app stability and performance, we utilize the following standard third-party developer services:

• Google Play Services

• Google Analytics for Firebase

• Firebase Crashlytics

These tools collect anonymous technical diagnostics to help us monitor app crashes and improve software performance.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We maintain strict confidentiality. We do not sell, rent, or share user or client data with any external marketing companies.

Data is only disclosed under the following conditions:

• To our trusted internal engineers and technicians specifically assigned to service your equipment.

• When required by Nigerian law, such as complying with a court subpoena or legal order from government authorities.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• Active Accounts: We retain your account details and generator logs for the entire duration of your active service agreement with us.

• Terminated Services: If a client terminates their service contract, we retain their generator logs and account data for a transitional period of 3 to 6 months for business record-keeping and administrative continuity, after which the data is permanently deleted.

6. Age Restriction

The Kanokdam application is strictly a commercial business-to-business maintenance tool. It is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. While the application contains no explicit or adult content, it is strictly restricted to adult clients and authorized technical personnel.

7. Data Security

We implement robust administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your credentials and maintenance records from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

8. Your Rights under the NDPA

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate information, or request data erasure subject to our 3-6 month business retention policy.
