Hej! Welcome to my world of research on cognition and contemplation. I am working as Assistant Professor at Rishihood University. Earlier a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. My orientation towards life is more focused on spiritual and intellectual growth. I have learned four different types of contemplative practices, the Sudarshan Kriya, Vipassana, Heartfulness, Rajayoga meditation, and have closely studied about many others. Given my research and experience in neuroscience, I find myself more engaged in studying the science behind meditation practices that I intuitively feel. Understanding esoteric mechanisms of meditation is what fascinates me, and with the vast interest of researchers around the world, this field’s expanse is yet to be explored. Personally, I’m invested in studying the different aspects of consciousness in clinical population as well as long term meditators. Meditation practices however, found to be effective for mild threshold of mental disorders but it is quite challenging to apply to severely or chronically suffered patient. Apart from the responsibilities of labwork, I do get along with different group to learn diversity in human behavior, to get some good friends, explore places, to understand deeper aspects of social causes and ultimately to get enlightened with the vast information present with individual's human brain.
