KanikSMP's Mission
KanikSMP's goal is to create an amazing Minecraft SMP where anyone can play and work together. These rules are designed to maintain a healthy community while allowing freedom for each and every player. These rules apply to the minecraft, discord, and any other server. All members, admins, and the owner are expected to follow these rules.
Rules
This server hosts vanilla minecraft with some light plugins to prevent cheating, hacking, and Griefing. The following rules are enforced at the Owner's discression. These rules are subject to change at any time.
No Hacking
Do not use hacked clients, mods, or resource packs that provide unfair advantages. If you're unsure whether something is considered cheating, ask the admin.
Exploiting Minecraft glitches (e.g., breaking bedrock or TNT duping) is allowed, but only if no external clients, mods, or resource packs are involved. Make sure it’s a legitimate in-game glitch.
Cracking the world seed is strictly prohibited. The world seed is kept private, and any attempt to access it will result in a severe or permanent ban. This rule is enforced very seriously.
No Griefing
Deliberately irritating or harassing other players is not allowed.
The server has plugins to prevent griefing, but they aren’t perfect. Admins and moderators may step in wherever needed.
Use the land-claiming plugin to protect your builds. Information about creating and managing land claims is available on the wiki. Landowners can assign permissions to trusted members of their land.
Unclaimed areas are not necessarily “anarchy zones.” Respect for other players applies everywhere on KanikSMP.
Respectful Language
Avoid swearing unless you’re sure other players are okay with it.
Discord Text Channels: Swearing is not allowed.
Voice Channels: Swearing is permitted only if everyone in the voice chat consents.
Lag, Crashes, and Exploits
Avoid activities that intentionally crash or significantly lag the server. Keep gameplay fair and enjoyable for everyone.
