Welcome!
I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Ashoka University, Sonepat, India. Previously, I have taught at the School of Liberal Studies, Ambedkar University, Delhi.
My primary research interests include empirical development economics in the field of labor, gender and distributional consequences of economic growth. As part of my current research agenda on gender and labor, I am working on issues around stagnation of women's labor force participation in India - exploring both the supply side and the demand side linkages using data from digital platforms as well as secondary household and firm data. My other ongoing research examines growth and resilience of firms in India and its implications for labor, capital and trade.
