I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics at Ashoka University. My research spans labor, firms and development economics, examining how policies shape employment outcomes across demographic groups, education-to-employment pathways and firm growth and labor demand.

My current work on gender and labor explores the supply- and demand-side factors underlying low female employment rates in India. My research on firms examines the determinants of growth and resilience, including the role of trade policies, and their implications for employment and capital allocation. Across these areas, I combine data from digital platforms, randomized field experiments and secondary individual- and firm-level datasets.
