Welcome!
I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Ashoka University, Sonepat, India. Previously, I have taught at the School of Liberal Studies, Ambedkar University, Delhi.
My primary research interests lie in empirical development economics, particularly labor, with a focus on gender, firm resilience, and the environment. As part of my current research agenda on gender and labor, I am working on issues related to low female employment rates in India, exploring both supply-side and demand-side linkages using data from digital platforms, as well as primary and secondary individual and firm-level data. My other ongoing research examines the growth and resilience of firms in India—the factors that influence them and their implications for labor, capital, trade, and the environment.
