I am currently a sixth-year Ph. D. student working in the Integrated Photonics Laboratory advised by Prof. Amy C. Foster in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.
Prior to Johns Hopkins, I got my Bachelor degree in physics at Peking University.

My research focuses on nonlinear optics in waveguiding devices. Specifically, I have realized 10 Gb/s all-optical NAND/AND logic operations using four-wave mixing Bragg scattering (FWM-BS) in highly nonlinear fiber (HNLF), and demonstrated low-power frequency conversion via FWM-BS with 15% conversion efficiency and greater than 4 nm bandwidth as well as 1.25 Gb/s NAND/AND logic gates in hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) waveguides. Besides, I also achieved 23-dB four-wave mixing efficiency enhancement in a 10-μm radius a-Si:H ring resonator compared to a 4-mm long a-Si:H waveguide. Currently, I am working on optical signal processing and quantum logic gate and on-demand single photon sources in a-Si:H microring resonators.
I am interested in developing high-speed integrated photonic devices and optical communication systems.
