This Privacy Policy describes how Kang Komik ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices.

Privacy First: Kang Komik is designed with your privacy in mind. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All your data stays on your device.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We do NOT collect any personal information. The App operates entirely offline with local storage.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

We collect minimal technical information to ensure the App functions properly:

• Analytics Data: We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., which features are used, app crashes). This data is anonymized and cannot identify you personally

• Ad-Related Data: Google AdMob may collect device advertising ID and basic device information to show relevant ads. See Section 4 for details

• Push Notification Data: OneSignal may collect device tokens and basic device information to deliver push notifications. See Section 4 for details

1.3 Information from Third Parties

None. We do not integrate with any third-party authentication services or receive data from external sources.

2. How We Use Your Information

Since we don't collect personal information, we only use anonymous data for:

• App Functionality: To provide and maintain the comic reading experience

• Improvement: To understand which features are popular and identify bugs through anonymous analytics

• Advertising: To display ads that support the free app (managed by Google AdMob)

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage Only

All your data is stored locally on your device:

• Reading history and bookmarks

• Favorite comics list

• App preferences and settings

• Last read positions

Important: If you uninstall the App or clear app data, all your local data will be permanently deleted. We cannot recover it because we don't have access to it.

3.2 No Cloud Storage

We do NOT store any of your data on our servers or in the cloud. Your reading history, favorites, and preferences exist only on your device.

3.3 Security Measures

Since data is stored locally on your device:

• Your device's built-in security (lock screen, encryption) protects your data

• We use HTTPS for fetching comic content from public sources

• No data transmission means no risk of interception

Recommendation: Use a secure lock screen on your device to protect your local data.

4. Third-Party Services

Our App uses the following third-party services that may collect limited, anonymous information:

4.1 Google Services

• Firebase Analytics: For anonymous app usage analytics and crash reporting (Firebase Privacy Policy)

• Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements that support the free app (AdMob Privacy Policy)

Note: We do NOT use Google Sign-In or any authentication services. No login is required.

4.2 OneSignal Push Notifications

We use OneSignal to send push notifications about:

• New chapter releases for your favorite comics

• App updates and new features

• Important announcements

Data Collected by OneSignal:

• Device push notification token (to deliver notifications)

• Device type and operating system version

• App version and usage timestamps

• Notification interaction data (opened, dismissed)

Important: OneSignal does NOT collect personal information like your name or email. All data is anonymous and used solely for notification delivery. Read OneSignal Privacy Policy.

Control Notifications:

• Disable in device: Settings → Apps → Kang Komik → Notifications → Turn off

4.3 Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use:

• Device advertising ID (can be reset in your device settings)

• Device type and operating system

• Anonymous usage data to show relevant ads

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT collect or sell personal information. Since all data is stored locally on your device, there is minimal data sharing:

5.1 Third-Party Services

Anonymous data may be shared with:

• Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics for app improvement

• Google AdMob: Device advertising ID for ad delivery

• OneSignal: Device push token for notification delivery

This data cannot identify you personally.

5.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose anonymous information if required by law or in response to:

• Legal processes (subpoenas, court orders)

• Protection of our rights, property, or safety

Note: Since we don't collect personal data, there is very little information we could disclose even if required.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Local Data Control

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• Clear Data: Go to your device Settings → Apps → Kang Komik → Clear Data

• Uninstall: Uninstalling the app removes all local data

Important: We cannot recover your data once deleted because we don't have access to it.

6.2 Advertising Preferences

To limit personalized advertising:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

• Visit Google Ad Settings

• Reset Advertising ID: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID

6.3 Analytics Opt-Out

While we only collect anonymous analytics, you can limit data collection by:

• Using a firewall or DNS-based ad blocker

• Disabling analytics in your device's privacy settings

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete such information from our systems.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using our App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

Kang Komik is a comic reader application that aggregates content from publicly available sources. We do not host, store, or own the comic content displayed in the App. All comics, manga, manhwa, and manhua content are the property of their respective copyright holders.

If you are a copyright holder and believe your content is being displayed without authorization, please contact us with:

• Proof of copyright ownership

• Specific content URL or title

• Your contact information

We will investigate and take appropriate action, including content removal if necessary.
