Our group stands at the forefront of translational genomics and precision oncology. By integrating computational bioinformatics with massively parallel sequencing, we bridge the gap between genomic data and clinical application.
Our group stands at the forefront of translational genomics and precision oncology. By integrating computational bioinformatics with massively parallel sequencing, we bridge the gap between genomic data and clinical application.
Currently, we are pushing the boundaries of cancer research by incorporating single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptomics. These cutting-edge technologies allow us to dissect tumor heterogeneity and the microenvironment at an unprecedented resolution. Combined with our patient-derived tumor organoid platform (an ex vivo avatar model), we aim to unravel the complex mechanisms of resistance to immune checkpoint inhibitors, targeted therapy and AR-targeting agents. Our ultimate goal is to identify novel therapeutic targets and realize the promise of truly personalized medicine.

Our group is dedicated to translational research that bridges the gap between scientific discovery and clinical application. We strive to realize precision oncology by integrating cutting-edge, high-throughput genomic technologies—including single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics—with functional analysis using patient-derived tumor organoids and mouse models.

Our ultimate goal is to solve fundamental clinical challenges in various diseases such as advanced genitourinary cancers, ensuring optimal treatment selection and significantly improving patient survival outcomes.
