From scientific discoveries into precision medicine!
A key research area of our group involves the translational genomics, particularly cancer genomics and precision (also personalized) oncology, through computational methods and bioinformatics. We have multiple efforts that realizethe clinical application of integratvie various genomics data with massively parallel sequencing analysis, and establish the patient-derived tumor organoid platform as ex vivo model of cancers. We are actively expanding our efforts in discovering the underlying mechanisms of resistance to promising cancer therapies, such as immune checkpoint inhibitors and AR targeting agents, as well as novel therapeutic targets by using patients molecular profiling.

The Mission of Our Group
Our research group focuses on the translational research with future clinical application, rather than pure basic science. We are pursuing the precision cancer medicine by using cutting-edge high-throughput genome technologies, such as whole transcriptome sequencing and single-cell RNA sequencing across the various clinical scenarios, as well as patient-derived tumor organoid models for functional analysis.
Our laboratory aims to answer fundamental questions, which ensures the best treatment selections and improve survival outcomes for patients with advanced genitourinary cancers!
