American River College is proud to announce this year's 2020 art scholarships winners! Sabrina has been chosen to be this year's Pruner Color Award recipient. Rachel Pineda has been chosen for the Maddock Figure award. Shania Mae Vargas will be awarded this year's Crocker Kingsley scholarship. This year's art scholarship competition was particularly difficult as there were so many talented students who applied. We would like to extend big congratulations to Sabrina, Rachel and Shania. Artist Statement
Every year retired Professor of Art and former Kaneko Gallery Director Mick Sheldon picks two students, whose work is edgy and unique, to receive the Crisp $50 Dollar Bill Mick Sheldon Award. This year the recipients of these awards will be Crystal Moore and Dante Ruiz for their imaginative and expressive works in the online student exhibition.
