Hello  World !
I am Kamrooz (Kommy) Parchamazad, residing in the picturesque city of Coto de Caza in the esteemed state of California. I am married to Shahzad, a radiologist physician specializing in Musculoskeletal, and together we are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Lillian Rose and Vivian Diba.  Both excel in swimming and tennis.
I am an Engineer (BS, MS, PhD in Engineering) and I work at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.   I am also interested in science, technology, politics, economics  and reading autobiographies.  In my free time, I play Rubik's cube, swim, work out, go on a hike and watch movies.  Al Pacino is my favorite actor and I am never tired of watching Godfather(s). I speak Persian, English and limited Arabic.
I was born and raised in the Middle East and then migrated to the U.S. for my graduate studies. I began my journey in California, where the ocean light first shaped my days. From there, life carried me eastward—to the streets of New York City (Staten Island), the winters of Syracuse, the historic heart of Boston, Massachusetts, and the coastal winds of Hampton, Virginia. Yet, as though drawn by an unbroken thread, I eventually returned to where it all began—back to California. In the United States two times, once in 2012 and once in 2017, I drove across the country and  explored the beautiful nature of America.
I quote from Firouz Naderi :    " Being Persian is part of my history and being an American is part of my identity and the two are irretrievably intermixed-like an egg that once scrambled, you cannot separate the yolk from the white. America is my country, and Iran is my homeland. And how blessed I am to be rooted in an ancient civilization with a rich culture, and at the same time a proud American living in this young nation that has lifted me on her shoulders, allowing me to reach for the stars" .
