As an Architect at Umar Munshi Associates (UMA), I spearheaded the master planning and architectural design of the PKR 3.5 Billion Cadet College in Devi Gali, Poonch, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, developed for the Federal Project Management Unit (PMU).

The 119-kanal institutional campus was conceived with a contemporary architectural language that responds sensitively to the site's natural topography, landscape, and environmental character. The master plan establishes a cohesive and functional academic environment while minimizing disruption to the existing terrain.

The comprehensive campus integrates academic facilities, administration, student hostels, staff residences, an indoor sports complex, visitors' facilitation zone, and a central prayer area, creating a well-connected institutional ecosystem. Careful spatial planning, circulation strategies, zoning, and landscape integration establish a balanced relationship between built form and the surrounding natural environment.

The project reflects a design approach focused on contextual architecture, functional planning, environmental sensitivity, and contemporary institutional identity, creating a distinctive and future-oriented educational campus within the mountainous landscape of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
