Chargée de recherche (CNRS fellow / assistant professor) associated with the Laboratory of Chemical Catalysis (Moran Lab) at the Institut de science et d'ingénierie supramoléculaires (website) in Strasbourg, France.

Research interests: prebiotic chemistry, evolutionary biochemistry and complex systems science (read more).

I investigate the emergence of primitive biochemistry from simple environmental inputs available on the early Earth. Specifically, I study complex chemical reaction networks which may have been precursors to life’s metabolic pathways (aka: protometabolism). Recently, I have set out to build experimental setups mimicking early Earth conditions for out-of-equilibrium protometabolic chemistry. I also study the chemical evolution of cofactors in the origin of life context.

Outside of work, I can be found outdoors exploring the wilderness. Life motto: "Don't panic".
