Global Group Project

Project description 

The objective of this project was to explore global technology issues and practice core digital literacy skills while using online collaboration tools and application software as my partner and I compared our countries similarities and difference on global technology issues. My partner Laibia chose Pakistan as her location and I chose Guatemala as mine.

What I Learned!?

One interesting fact I learned about Guatemala is women population is higher than the male population . Due to the population being higher women have been elected to preside the Judicial and Legislative Branches of Government. A interesting  fact I've learned about Pakistan is Urdu is the Official National Language, But It’s the Fourth Most Commonly Spoken.  What I learned from the project was that Pakistan is a third world country; I was very surprised by that fact.

Overall lesson

During this project I learned despite the countries being in two different continents, They still face similar problems. Pakistan and Guatemala faces economic divisions due to Urban cities and towns having more access to the internet than rural areas who also lack the infrastructure. Pakistan and Guatemala villages both lack the affordability to own resources that will help them advance. However, despite the lag both countries are beginning to develop more in technology advances .
