Kamal Agrawal received the B.Tech. (Hons.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gautam Buddha Technical University (formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University), Lucknow, India, in 2010, and the M.Tech. in Signal Processing from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), University of Delhi, New Delhi, India, in 2016. He received his Ph.D. degree in Wireless Communication from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering, Shiv Nadar Institute of Eminence, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. Prior to this, he was associated with the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, LNMIIT Jaipur. He has also worked as Senior Research Fellow and Early Doc Fellow at IIT, Delhi. He was a visiting research scholar at the University College Dublin, Ireland, from April 2019 to July 2019, under the Erasmus+ ICM Research Program.

He has served as the technical program committee member (TPC) of several prestigious national and international conferences. Currently, he is serving as TPC member of IEEE WCNC 2024 and ICC 2024. His research interests include cooperative communications, integrated sensing and communication, aerial communication, Underwater optical wireless communication, energy harvesting, re-configurable intelligent surfaces, short-packet communication, and next-generation multiple access techniques.
