Hello and welcome to my page.
I am currently working at Tohoku University. During my PhD at IIT Kanpur, I conducted fundamental research on atmospheric pressure plasma jets (APPJs) and their applications. My thesis, titled "Low Temperature Atmospheric Pressure Micro-Plasma Jets: Physics and Applications", was completed under the supervision of Prof. Sudeep Bhattacharjee at IIT Kanpur.
At present, I am working on plasma-liquid interactions in the Kaneko-Kato Lab at Tohoku University, as part of a JSPS-funded project. My focus is on understanding the complex plasma-liquid interface chemistry, which involves numerous reaction pathways. The main goal of this study is to characterize the behavior of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS) at the interface using various diagnostic techniques. Currently, my research utilizes Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) and high-speed imaging to investigate plasma-liquid interactions. I am also eager to broaden my expertise by learning Laser-Induced Fluorescence (LIF) and chemical methods, which will further enhance the depth of my research. Ultimately, we aim to enhance the controllability of RONS for biomedical applications.
My research interests are grounded in both the fundamentals and applications of atmospheric pressure plasma jets.
In addition to my research, I enjoy music, sports, a good story and learning new things. I have played badminton and lawn tennis at the institute level and learned Indian classical violin for a year.
