Postdoctoral research fellow at Constructor University (Previously Known as Jacobs University Bremen) with Professor Dr. Ulrich Kleinekathöfer. K.J. worked on "Permeation of substrates and antibiotics across the outer membrane channel BtuBG from Gram-negative bacteria Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron: In silico studies with close connection to experiment" and "Molecular dynamics of protein folding under the influence of external magnetic fields" projects.
Alexander von Humboldt fellow, November 2019 to January 2022:
K.J. was awarded a prestigious Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral research fellowship by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. K.J. explored the substrate permeation through the bacterial outer membrane channel at Jacobs University Bremen with Professor Dr. Ulrich Kleinekathöfer from November 2019 to January 2022.
Postdoc at DTU, January 2019 to August 2019:
K. J. carried out his first postdoctoral research at the Technical University of Denmark, Lyngby, with Professor Dr. Kasper P. Kepp on the "Development of a High-Accuracy (½ kcal/mol) Protein Stability Calculator" project.
Ph.D. : 2013-18
K. J. pursued his Ph.D. research work at CSIR-Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar, under the guidance of Dr. Bishwajit Ganguly on "In Silico Studies towards Understanding the Structure and Reactivity of Organic and Biomolecular Systems".
